Meet the Shopkeeper

Hi Ya'll,

I'm Casey, owner and Shopkeeper of The Rooted Market. I'm a military wife and homeschooling mama of two adventurous little boys. In 2022, God laid on my heart a clear vision...He showed me the need to bridge the link between the small, honest maker and the values-driven consumer. To make buying quality goods a more thoughtful experience. To slow down and get back to a simpler time.

Over the years, The Lord continues to reveal His plan for The Rooted Market. We are immersed in our local community through collaboration with fellow small businesses, regenerative farms, and homesteading events. We boldly speaking His name at our in-person shop and are currently planning fellowship for women of all ages and backgrounds through Rooted Women's Ministry. We hope to begin a women's conference in the coming years.

Finally, here is where I muse over wild thoughts from my constantly stirring soul through writings on faith, running a small business, being a more thoughtful consumer, non-toxic living, building a homestead, generational wisdom and a dash of American history. I aim to inspire, encourage and maybe stir something inside our readers. Nevertheless, I hope you'll join me on this road to building a more intentional life.

Welcome to a community of simple folk. Welcome to The Rooted Market. Come on in and stay while.

~Casey
