SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping Policy

The Rooted Market is a growing, family-run business. We strive to offer exceptional customer service at our small capacity.

Shipping prices are based on current carrier rates. Prices will vary depending on your zone. Shipping times may also vary. Shipping will be reflected at checkout. We offer flat rate shipping to 50 U.S. States. Currently, we do not ship to U.S. Territories. We also regret that we cannot ship to Hawaii and Alaska, PO Boxes, APOs, and to international addresses.

 

We process and ship regular orders 1-2 times a week. The time we need to process an order is up to 3-5 business days of payment processed (excluding national holidays). You will receive an official tracking notification once your parcel has shipped. Please be sure to check your spam folder for order progress and confirmation. Pre-order items can take up to 30 business days.

All local orders over $400 qualify for the home delivery option with an additional fee of $50. Local delivery areas include: Harrison County, MS; Jackson County, MS; Mobile County, AL; Baldwin County, AL. We do deliveries every Friday; with the exception of holidays. You will receive an email when your order is ready for delivery and a subsequent email once the package has been delivered. Please leave detailed delivery instructions if you have any concerns or additions preferences. We may refuse a delivery for any reason; at which, you will receive an email notification to cancel your order with a full refund or change to another form of shipping.

Packages will ship only to the name and address provided at the time of checkout, no exceptions. Please verify your information is correct prior to purchase. Shipping times will vary and are separate from processing time. We cannot edit or modify orders. Please reach out if you would like to make changes so we can cancel your order and allow you to submit a new one. Shipping times may vary around the holiday season, inclement weather, or emergency disasters.

Items purchased will be secured with 100% sustainable material and additional wrapping where necessary for fragile items. We have made it our priority at The Rooted Market to ship items in eco-friendly packaging with materials that can be recycled and/or are biodegradable.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are on a street or in an area with known porch pirates please add to the delivery notes section at checkout requesting signature upon delivery to ensure your item arrives safely. We will include the signature for your delivery at no extra cost. 

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns
The Rooted Market is a brand new small, family-run business. We do not have the ability to offer refunds on most orders. If you have an any issue with your order, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at therootedmarketgoods@gmail.com. We will do our best to find a solution to the problem you may have with your goods. Special orders, sale items, food items, beauty/bath products, herbal remedies and vintage items are all non-returnable. 

 

Please note: returned items will not be accepted without return authorization. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer with the exception of damages or errors on our part. Items authorized for return must be packaged in their original shipping carton with the enclosed packing slip.

After 90 days of delivery; return, refund, exchange, and/or store credit options will be null and void.

Damages or defects
It’s important to note that many of our items are hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces, so colors or finishes may vary. We do our best to ensure your products arrive safely and correctly. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at therootedmarketgoods@gmail.com within 24 hours of date of delivery. Please include a description and photo of the damaged order. We will contact you as soon as possible.
